It caught all the intricate, bare branches of the trees, making them look like a delicate, tangled skeleton against the glow. The ground was a sea of rusty, copper-coloured bracken, all dormant and waiting. It was one of those rare moments that felt both haunting and incredibly peaceful at the same time.
