🍂 Capture the Magic of Autumn: 1-1 Woodland Workshops
Join me 1-1 to experience and photograph the most colourful spectacle of the year. Autumn transforms the woodland into a rich tapestry of colour, offering a unique and fleeting opportunity for photographers. The forest floor becomes a breathtaking carpet of gold, and the fiery reds, oranges, and yellows of the beech and birch trees create a canopy that glows in the low, golden light.
This workshop is designed to help you cut through the "beautiful chaos" of the woodland and create images that truly capture the intimate, magical atmosphere of the season.
What You Will Learn
My goal is to provide bespoke, hands-on guidance tailored completely to you. We will move beyond just "taking pictures" and focus on making photographs.
We will cover:
Finding Calm in the Chaos: Techniques to find strong, compelling compositions in a busy woodland environment.
Mastering the Light: How to work with the soft, low, golden light of the forest, and hopefully, a touch of autumn mist.
Working with Autumn Colour: Specific methods for capturing the rich, vibrant palette of the season, from grand vistas to intimate details.
Creating Atmosphere: How to use lens choice, aperture, and focus to create a sense of depth, mood, and intimacy in your images.
Technical Confidence: One-on-one help with your camera settings, from nailing critical focus to achieving the perfect exposure.
1hr Post Processing Zoom Call: A follow-up session after your day to help with your editing process.
Who is this Workshop For?
This workshop is perfect for beginner and intermediate photographers who want to build their confidence in woodland settings. If you have a DSLR or mirrorless camera and want to move beyond "Auto" mode, or if you're an enthusiast looking to refine your creative vision, this day is for you.
A moderate level of fitness is required, as we will be walking on uneven woodland paths.
